It's always a surprise when musicians each of whom you’ve heard before in various bands or during widely divergent jamsessions, suddenly happen to form a band together. And when I say band, I really mean band. As is the case with Thinktank and their first CD effort Pek Dek. They sound very close, like they’ve been working a lot together before, like they know each other musically inside out. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why you loose the feeling the music on their debut CD Pek Dek was recorded in a studio and, instead, get and enjoy the sensation of a live performance.
